Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician and singer. Corr, along with Caroline Sharon and Jim, made their debut with the band as The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland. She's a singer-songwriter actress, musician, and performer. She is known best as The lead singer in The Celtic-folk, pop rock and Celtic folk group The Corrs. The singer is lead of the group and performs on a variety of instruments. Andrea was first introduced to acting in the year 1991. Then, she was a professional singer and stage performer. She was a playback singer in 1998's Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. With six studio albums two compilation albums, two live albums and one remix album to her credit Andrea is firmly established as an artist with a variety of talents. Furthermore, she has also received awards for her work in the field of humanitarian aid. Andrea as well as her partner Stockbroker has two children. Andrea was able to learn music at the age of seven by playing the tiny. Gerry was her instructor when she first began learning to play piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. She spent her entire teenage life honing and perfecting her music abilities. She began by practicing with her brothers and sisters as well, before she became the singer-in-chief of the group. Andrea was a part of many shows in the Dun Lughaidh Convent.
